Tips for a $500 loadout
- Budget knife models such as the Navaja, Gut Knife, Shadow Daggers and Kukri leave the most room for gloves.
- Field-Tested is the usual sweet spot: it looks close to Minimal Wear in game and often costs much less.
- Red, black and blue are usually the cheapest colors to fill, because almost every weapon has an inexpensive skin in them.
Frequently asked
- Can you get a knife and gloves in CS2 for $500?
- Yes. Today's loadout on this page pairs ★ Gut Knife | Fade with ★ Moto Gloves | POW! for $163.99, and still has skins on all ten main weapons, for $483.98 in total.
- How much of a $500 loadout goes to the knife and gloves?
- The Builder aims about 35% of the budget at the knife and gloves, 30% at the AK-47, M4 and AWP, 20% at pistols and 15% at the other guns. In today's loadout the pair costs $163.99, 34% of what it spends.
- Why does the $500 loadout cost less than $500?
- Each group of weapons has its own share of the budget, and the Builder won't push a slot past its share just to use the money. You can change the shares in the Builder's advanced options, or open the loadout and swap any slot for a pricier skin.
- Which colors work at $500?
- 7 distinct loadouts fit this budget today: the best overall pick plus 6 color themes. Color matching uses each skin's measured colors, and weapons without a skin in that color get a neutral black or white one.
